We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent IT troubleshooting skills to join the Radiology IT systems support team in Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will be part of a small team that supports the Radiology Department and the Trust as a whole in their use and development of imaging specific IT systems and solutions. This is a very varied role with plenty of opportunities for the successful applicant to develop their IT knowledge and skills. Although working as part of a team, the ability to be able to work on your own and think for yourself is also important.
Your role is to undertake day to day tasks in order to support the Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS) and its interfaces with the Radiology Information System (RIS) and other Trust IT Systems. This is so as to ensure that:
- Radiology and diagnostic imaging information is processed in accordance with policies and procedures.
- The quality and content of data held within PACS related information systems is accurate, up to date and maintained.
- Enquiries from HUTH PACS users are dealt with appropriately and investigated accordingly providing advice and assistance as required.
- All levels of staff are supported and trained on the Radiology IT Systems
You will be based at CHH but will be required to work across sites.
