Informatics Systems Development Manager - Band 8a
Surrey & Sussex seek an Informatics Systems Development Manager to join their Health Informatics Team.
Five years’ experience working in Informatics in the NHS is required plus a Master’s Degree in an Information related field or be a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or have equivalent proven experience in a technical development role.
The Informatics Systems Development Manager is responsible for developing and delivering software solutions using modern frameworks and practices. Working in an agile environment the post holder will be expected to work within a cross-functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.
This Informatics Systems Development Manager post is a critical informatics resource required to help provide expert technical knowledge throughout the design, piloting, implementation and maintenance of specialist hospital systems. They will take the lead on overseeing software development during the lifecycle of the development and deployment of all trust in-house developed systems.
