Having established GM Imaging and Pathology networks. The next two years will see the networks develop rapidly to mature states and we are seeking several key roles to help us deliver this ambition.
You will provide technical and subject matter expertise to drive, maintain and optimise all existing imaging systems across the Greater Manchester region. You will be the key link between system supplier, local operational services, and other GM digital teams.
You will oversee the continued operational delivery of the Greater Manchester imaging systems (including PACS and RIS) and work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to lead on collaborative operational schemes.
You will provide significant technical and operational management to support system integration and sharing of technical knowledge to local system managers and wider imaging service personnel.
You will be educated to master’s level or equivalent experience. Ideally you will have experience on relevant IT systems, interfacing and networks. Ideally you will have a management qualification and you will have experience of leading and managing change. We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience of managing imaging system teams and other managers working to a common goal but on disparate projects/tasks.
You will be able to work across multiple sites in Greater Manchester, and flexible times as the role necessitates the need to work occasional evenings and weekends during system integrations.
