Barking, Havering & Redbridge University NHS Trust have their nets cast wide for a new Head of Actionable Intelligence.
Seeking a leader with visions beyond the norm, the Trust looks for a suitably strategic individual to assist with analytical support to improve the quality of scenario based planning, options appraisal and decision making around medical I.T. systems.
Working with clinical leads, the postholder will hopefully cut the wheat from the chaff in terms of clinical data, providing strategic direction on the deployment and use of automated reporting solutions, healthcare analytics and actionable intelligence across the informatics domain, particularly affecting Radiology and Pathology.
The Trust operates a 6 month extra long ‘hire-but-might-fire’ probation period due to what is described as the current unique culture and quality of working environment at the Trust.
The Trust lists that they expect all staff to promote healthy living and set good examples in their own behaviour. In particular, those not ready to quit smoking must remain smoke free during working hours. However, vaping is stated on the job advert as being permitted outside hospital buildings.
