Head of Systems and Information Management (Radiology):
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
An “exciting” opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to take on a diverse role within the radiology senior management team in North Wales.
The post holder will be the lead for PACS and RIS across the Health Board working with senior colleagues within radiology, finance, performance and IT to support the delivery of clinical services across North Wales.
The key aspects of the role are to lead the PACS / RIS support team based on the three DGH sites, to work alongside clinical, professional and governance leads to provide key performance metrics for the service and develop more effective whole system processes that optimise workflow.
Alongside performance monitoring/reporting, the successful applicant will be required to interrogate the RIS and PACS to provide information to support operational management, planning and service development across a complex diagnostic service and to work with service managers, directorate and secondary care teams across North Wales to help deliver and effective and efficient clinical service.
