University Hospital Southampton is looking for an experience [sic] digital programme manager to head the Digital / Informatics programme management office where they will support the delivery of vital and complex digital change programmes. A large part of the role will be implementing new processes to improve the efficiency of the Informatics service.
The job advert makes it clear that Southampton is a “great place to work and a great place to live” “with living costs 20% lower than London” and conveniently having an international airport to hand.
Along with the usual duties, the post holder will develop a new function whereby all new requests for Informatics projects are received and quantified before a decision is made to proceed. This will change the way the Informatics service works there. They will also deputise for the Head of Digital Programme as necessary, and be responsible for resources [sic] allocation.
